What are your fees?

For a 55 minute psychotherapy appointment, my fee is $170. You may also request a 25 minute appointment at a rate of $85. I also offer free 15 minute consultations to determine whether we will be a good fit, before you commit to a full session.
Is psychotherapy covered by OHIP?

Psychotherapy in a private practice setting is not covered by OHIP. Many private insurance companies will cover psychotherapy provided by an RN Psychotherapist. Please check with your insurance that RN Psychotherapists are covered prior to a first appointment. After each session, I will send you a receipt that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. I unfortunately do not offer direct billing at this time.
Do you offer in-person or virtual appointments?

I offer both virtual and in-person appointments. Virtual appointments are available across Ontario and are conducted via the Janeapp secure video call system. In-person appointments take place at the Ottawa Street Health Collective (327 Ottawa St. North in Hamilton, Ontario).
What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel up to 24 hours ahead of your scheduled appointment at no cost. Late cancellations under 24 hours notice or no-shows will be billed at the full fee.
